Alberta born and raised in a small farming community, the skill and inspired creativity of stained glass was passed on to me by my late Grandmother. With every piece created, I look to the heavens and wonder, what would grandma say to me about this latest piece. How I wish she was here to see how far I have come from those early days together in her glass room.
The craftsmanship of glass art is a shared passion with an aunt and a cousin…so one might say it is in our blood.
Loving the challenge, I am continuously inspired to move glass through the various modalities of the glass-smithing art, studying and researching glass types and techniques is my dedication in delivering the highest quality of craftmanship in stained-glass and warm & hot glass art, for timeless enjoyment for all who choose to add my pieces to their homes or art collections.
It is with loving gratitude and appreciation, to have the support of my daughter, parents, siblings, nephews, and dear friends. Together they have given me years of endless support and having to put up with ..... :) LOL ...and deal with… all my glass talk and project production ideas that usually land them into some sort of a drafting project to engineer and/or fabricate this or that…lol...to the building, construction and move into the current and most likely future studio spaces and needs. Too the countless hours they continue to give me with markets and more! I truly appreciate and love you all.
